Alterations / Cancellations

On occasions when you need to cancel a booked shift, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the support worker will be paid for the full shift and you will be charged for the booked shift.

A support worker at Kate Cares Disability Services is requested to provide as much notice as possible if they wish to cancel a booked shift. In this situation, Kate Cares Disability Services will contact you immediately to arrange alternatives. You may choose to replace the booked worker or you may choose to cancel the booked shift. If you choose to cancel the booked shift you will not be charge for service that is not delivered.
