After Hours Emergency Services
Our on-call services are run to provide assistance after normal office hours. This service is used for emergencies only such as an incident has happened or your worker has not arrived at the scheduled time or if you require your worker to stay longer than booked hours.
On-call cannot be used to raise issues about a particular worker, unless you have been negligent. If the issue can wait to be dealt with during office hours, please do not ring on-call.
Emergency Response
If, when providing care for you, our staff assess you as requiring emergency medical treatment (for example, if you are falling ill or if you have a serious fall) then an ambulance will be called. Any fee associated with the ambulance attendance is your responsibility. Staff will then inform Kate Cares Disability Services about what has happened to you.
